5 Best Roku Universal Remote in 2020

1) Logitech Harmony Companion

Logitech Harmony Companion All in One Remote Control for Smart Home and Entertainment Devices

People nowadays are completely forgetting the fact that a device doesn’t necessarily have to look good in order to function perfectly. Logitech harmony companion is the perfect example, it is packed with high-quality features in a not so fancy outfit.

The remote works with Alexa and Google assistant and supports all kinds of devices like iOS, Android, Windows, etc. you can control up to 8 devices using this remote. You can also connect the remote with your smartphone and work through your smartphone as well. It is available at a great price and excellent compatibility.

The only downside of Logitech harmony is that it doesn’t have a backlight and has a dirt-prone surface, both of these are not any major issues for me. Overall, the Logitech harmony companion is a good choice if you are looking for a universal remote for roku.

2) GE Universal Remote

 GE Universal Remote Control

Before I start reviewing the remote, can we take a few minutes to appreciate how amazing the appearance is? Okay, you get it, I am flattered. This remote is best for users that are not too picky and can settle for mediocre functionality and good quality at minimum pricing.

I really love the appearance, but this remote doesn’t actually have a good game when it comes to advanced features like Wi-Fi support, macros, etc. it is very easy to use and can be perfect for someone that doesn’t want to deal with any kind of techy difficulties.

It is not compatible with Roku or any other fire stick. But when we consider the fact that the remote is just slightly above 10 bucks, the features are okay and it is pretty good quality stuff. Overall, it does have some downsides but if you are not willing to spend much on a remote, this can be a good choice.

3) Inteset Usniverasl Remote

Inteset 4-in-1 Universal Backlit IR Learning Remote

It’s a 4 in 1 remote which provides ease of use with a simple design, the features are amazing and its a very good deal for the price. The compatibility is solid, the remote is pre-programmed to work with Xbox One, Roku, Kodi, Apple TV and supports a few other devices.

The remote can be put to use to control up to 4 devices and is fitted with a backlight that won’t switch off. It also supports macro programming so you can add a string of 15 commands to one button.

The setting up process is pretty easy and provides good performance. A few downsides of the remote is that it doesn’t work with Fire TV and you can only control 4 devices. Overall, it does have a few disadvantages but is a good value for the money you put in.

4) Sofabaton Universal Remote

Best Roku Universal Remote

This is a highly efficient remote that can work with 500.000 different devices. The setting up process is not very complex, and it can work with 15 multimedia devices at once.

When we talk about compatibility, this remote supports all types of devices you could ever dream of. You can use it with Xbox One X, Apple TV, Roku, and many more. But as it doesn’t offer any Wi-Fi support, it doesn’t work with Roku stick and other devices that need wifi support.

The remote supports macros, so if you want to do all of the techy stuff by assigning different commands to the keys, you can do that. It also has a tiny OLED colour screen which provides some basic pieces of information. Though it provides so many amazing features, it is still very easy to use highly functional.

Let’s talk about the negative side of the spectrum, all of the other aspects are amazing but the remote doesn’t have Wi-Fi support and doesn’t support PS4and Roku stick. The IR sensor on it is not the strongest and the remote also doesn’t have a backlight.

5) Caavo Control Centre Remote

Caavo Control Center Smart Remote and Home Theater

If you are in search of something more than just a remote, this is definitely the one for you. The remote has a great voice control through which you can access content on YouTube, Netflix etc. it also works with all kinds of devices like Roku, Apple TV etc.

Caavo control center smart remote is extremely easy to function with and also has great compatibility. When using this remote, you can easily work with Alexa or Google Assistant.

As with all of the devices in the list, Caavo control center smart remote also has its downsides. One of the major drawbacks is that you can only control up to 4 devices using this remote, but if that feature is not very concerning to you, the remote is pretty good. It also doesn’t have Dolby Vision support and you will have to pay a fixed amount of fee to use the search features like voice search etc.

The remote definitely has it all to become the best universal remote but needs a lot of improvements. It is SONOS compatible and provides ease of use and is extremely easy to setup.
